Today we are thrilled to announce the launch of our flagship initiative AI for Changemakers, our new accelerator program for social and environmental impact organized with support from AWS and Google.org.
Built on our experience working with hundreds of tech leaders and social impact innovators, AI for Changemakers Accelerator aims to help + 100 outstanding global nonprofits amplify the impact of their work by using AI. Through our flagship matching platform, we will be able to connect nonprofits to tech companies interested in providing pro bono AI solutions, allowing bespoke, tailored support for nonprofit organizations based on what brings the biggest impact and is most beneficial for them.
Who can apply?
- Tech companies willing to engage in AI for good projects can register starting April 18th, 2024.
- Nonprofit organizations must apply to be selected for the program starting April 18th, 2024, according to the Application Timeline of the program (available on the program website).

Our Commitment to Fostering Collaborations for Impact
At Tech To The Rescue, our mission is clear: to connect technology companies with nonprofits worldwide, using tech to tackle society’s most pressing issues. Since our start in 2020, we’ve brought together over 1,500 tech companies and 2,000 nonprofits, resulting in over 700 pro bono technology projects. These impact projects have a cumulated value of $ 7M, making a real difference for the social impact organizations.
What can participants expect from the AI for Changemakers program?
The program is designed to foster impactful collaboration between the tech and the social impact worlds, and our north star is to see AI solutions being built for and with social impact scale-ups. All program participants (tech companies, selected nonprofits, mentors and partners) will benefit from ongoing support from the AI for Changemakers community and the opportunity to participate in program events.
