During our cooperation with 10Clouds, we focused on what is most important in every startup at an early stage of development - to increase the number of users. We started with a workshop where a dozen solutions were proposed that we could implement together. We decided to focus on the foundations and reimagine how we want to present ourselves on our website. As a result, thanks to the new landing page, our conversion increased by 22% (I encourage you to visit join.altruisto.com). We hope this will allow for faster growth and, as a result, more lives saved.
Altruisto raises funds for initiatives primarily related to animal suffering, COVID-19 and extreme poverty. The idea is both simple and innovative. When a customer purchases a product online from a store that is a partner of Altruisto, approx. 2-6% of the product cost is automatically transferred to selected charities. Altruisto was concerned about relatively low take-up of its mobile app and website plug-in and turned to 10Clouds for support with increasing the number of its users.
10Clouds conducted a Discovery process to explore the most promising solutions for increasing the number of users. The goal was to explore who Altruisto’s target audience were, and to analyse their behaviours while online shopping. The conducted analysis showed that the best solution was the creation and design of a new landing page for Altruisto. The project was carried out by a team of designers, developers and product delivery managers over a period of 12 weeks in close cooperation with Altruisto’s internal team.
10Clouds’ work significantly increased the number of product users, and boosted the overall conversion rate by 22% (compared to the previous version of the website). The internal team was confident that it would lead to further expansion and product growth. Each conversion of course meant more money donated to a charitable cause.
